Seeking a diploma or certificate III qualified educator for a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week.

Key duties include:

• preparing and running educational and recreational activities
• managing behaviour
• supervising hygiene and daily routines
• ensuring their safety
• working as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Daily routines: supervising and assisting children with daily routines, including eating, sleeping, and personal hygiene. 
• Child development: guiding children's social development and managing their behaviour in a positive way. 
• Activities: preparing materials and conducting educational and recreational activities, such as reading and playing games. 
• Safety and hygiene: ensuring the children's safety and monitoring their hygiene. 
• Environment: assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment for the children. 

In addition, applicants must:

• Have a genuine passion for working in early childhood education and care.
• Have the ability to assist in planning programs and documenting children's learning.
• Be an active contributor within a team.
• Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to their role.
• Have the ability to understand and adhere to centre policies, procedures and operational practices at all times.
• Value, prioritise and advocate for play in children’s learning and development.
• Create and maintain long-lasting connections with children, families, educators and the local community.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants will not be considered without the following: 

• An accredited qualification (working towards or completed) in Early Childhood Education and Care (or earlier equivalent)
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Current Health Clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
