As an Early Childhood Teacher at The Grove Academy, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and inspiring both children and your team. Task & Responsibilities

Ensuring student well-being: Monitor students' health, safety, and nutritional needs, and identify any potential barriers to their progress. Observe students for signs of illness, emotional distress, or disabilities.
Creating engaging learning environments: Design and organize lessons in both indoor and outdoor spaces, utilizing diverse materials and equipment to foster student development. Offer a range of activities to enhance motor skills, social skills, confidence, and understanding.
Supporting language development: Encourage language growth through storytelling, role-playing, songs, rhymes, and both individual and group discussions.
Assessing and communicating progress: Observe students to evaluate their development and share progress updates with parents. Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and committee meetings.
Community involvement and mentorship: Engage in community and family support programs as needed. Supervise and mentor student teachers during their placements.

Qualification & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, driven, and ready to lead by example.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

A Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child development
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and a love for creating meaningful learning experiences
