Montessori Minds Childcare and Kindergarten (MONTESSORI MINDS PTY LTD) in Norlane (North Geelong), is seeking a full time early childhood teacher with the right attitude and passion for working with children.

At least 3-4 years of relevant experience and a minimum of a Bachelor or Master of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent education. Salary of $75,000 - $85,000 + super for this full-time position.

Task & Responsibilities

As the Early Childhood Teacher for children aged 3–6 years, you will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks.

Deliver a kindergarten program for children aged 3–6 years.
Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Collaborate with families and colleagues to build a warm, inclusive space where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to grow.
Create and run engaging activities that help children develop new skills and enjoy early learning experiences
Observe and keep track of each child’s progress.
Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Encourage children to develop social and emotional skills.
Ensure that records are maintained accurately for each child in care
Prepare reports and learning portfolios to track children's progress and share insights with families.

Qualification & Experience

A Bachelor or Master of Early Childhood Education, or ACECQA approved equivalent
Sound, practical working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
A current and State relevant Working with Children's Check
A current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in early childhood development and programming
At least 3-4 years of experience in highly relevant role required.
